Position: Part-Time Licensed Mental Health Professional (W2, Remote)
Location: Remote (Texas License Required)
About the Role:
Heart Exchange Psychology & Wellness is seeking a fully Texas licensed clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD) to provide virtual therapy for adults, teens, and/or couples. This part-time role (8–12 billable hours/week) is ideal for a compassionate and skilled provider who is passionate about integrating Christian faith in treatment when requested by clients.

Born from Perry Psychological & Consultation Services, our mission is to create emotionally and spiritually safe spaces for clients navigating complex personal and professional demands. We also aim to equip the next generation of spiritually-integrated clinicians.
Ideal Candidate:
You are a licensed clinician who values faith integration, works well independently and collaboratively, and holds a nonjudgmental stance toward complex or sensitive topics. You bring clinical excellence, emotional intelligence, and strong ethics to your work—and ideally, you also bring a specialty area such as anxiety, trauma, grief, couples, or teens.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited program (APA, CACREP, CSWE, or COAMFTE)
Full, unrestricted clinical license in Texas
At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience
Comfortable with technology and organized in documentation/communication
Committed to ethical practice, HIPAA compliance, and clear professional boundaries
Willing to support a range of presenting concerns, including those that may challenge traditional Christian values
Open to integrating faith and mental health when requested by clients
Reliable internet connection and a private, secure space for telehealth sessions
Preferred (Not Required):
In-network with BCBS-TX or CAQH registered
Experience with SimplePractice EHR
Prior Christian counseling experience
Niche in teens, couples, or anxiety encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Provide virtual therapy in alignment with company policies and clinical standards
Maintain a caseload of 8–12+ billable sessions per week
Be available for two evening shifts (4–8pm CST) and select Saturdays (9am–1pm CST) in addition to your preferred schedule
Complete all documentation (intakes, progress notes, treatment plans, etc.) within expected timeframes
Respond to client messages and inquiries within 48 business hours
Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations
Contribute to quarterly community engagement (e.g., workshops, social media, speaking engagements, or therapy groups)
Maintain ethical standards and uphold all licensure and HIPAA compliance requirements
